Biography

I am a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin Madison. I am passionate about working at the intersection of micro-technology specifically microfluidic and immune cells such as neutrophils. My research interest is to investigate neutrophils and monocyte/macrophage behavior during inflammation in terms of migration, swarming, and their effector functions like ROS production, NETs, and anti-microbial activities.

I am currently investigating the interaction between macrophage derived extracellular vesicles and neutrophils in determining the resolution of inflammation using a microfluidic device ex vivo. In addition, I am also investigating the interaction between neutrophils and Toxoplasma Gondii and how these parasites use neutrophils as a trojan horse in vitro

Besides doing research, I enjoy watching Hollywood movies, playing Play Station 5-FIFA23 and spending time with my family.
